Turquoise Doors...

During my weekly runs with my husband, I have noticed and increasing number of turquoise doors in my neighborhood. Although, not as fancy as the ones above, they definitely draw my attention. They stand out, no question about it!

Turquoise is a beautiful color and it has always been my favorite in jewelry making. It also has become the center of my inspiration for my Fall collection. I can't wait to show you! I have been working really hard on it...

Creative Ways to Display and Store your Jewelry...

This can be easily accomplished by attaching a nice lace trimming to a gorgeous antique frame. Photo via Inkinandthikin

Drawers with tones of dividers are perfect for storing all kinds of jewelry. These are typically used for kitchen storage, but work great in the bedroom closet. IKEA has some fabulous options for these type of storage drawers. Photo via TheGlamourai

And last, but not least, coat hangers are great for jewelry display and storage, specially for those chunky colorful necklaces. I love the ones with unique knobs, they add a lot of character to your room. Photo via The Glitter Guide

Baby K's Birthday Party Cakes...

This was my very first time making a fondant cake. It turned out Ok (I think?). Here is a wonderful  fondant tutorial. It is definetely worth trying it! And, of course, you would save a lot of money doing it yourself.

This second cake I made for the party is a "surprise cake". I remember seeing some version of this growing up in my native South America. It is so easy to make, and a lot of fun for the kids. I baked a "box" cake. Then, cut up it open carefully on each side, and hid little kid toys inside tied to a ribbon or string. You can have as made as you want depending on the size of your cake. I attached pink string for the girls and blue for the boys surprises. Then just covere it with the frosting of your choice.
All the kids at the party loved it... Remember that you don't have to eat this cake (unless you really want to...;-) But it also makes a good play and smash cake for the kids...

Free Baby Shower Resources...

Lately, I have been in charge of the entertainment for a couple of baby showers. I have to honestly confess that sometimes I rather be in charge of the food and decoration. Sometimes I can get I bit overwhelmed by decision making process and the responsibility of making sure that I am not boring everyone to dead. So, in the process,  have come across some wonderful resources put together by some of you wonderful bloggers. Hey, just print and copy sounds great to me... Wish me good luck!

Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques...

When I got pregnant I decided I wanted to consume products that would be as natural and organic as possible just to be on safe side and prevent any possible harm. That is when I started to use Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques and I got hooked to them ever since. They went far and beyond my expectations. All of their products contain real, pure, and organic ingredients and are free of toxic chemicals, artificial preservatives, dyes, nano particles, talc, or parabens.

Now just to narrow it down, I have to say that I can't live now without their Powder Foundation and Creme Foundation. They offer an amazingly beautiful matte coverage! And their prices? I can't complain. They are very reasonably priced. All of these fabulous products are also available at Natural Joy Beauty.

*I haven't been sponsored to review these products. All of this information comes from my heart.
