DIY Iron-On Transfers...

I finally got to this project I have been planning to do for a long time. It is so easy and it turned out just the way I wanted it. Here is what you need:

- An inkjet printer
- A good inkjet transfer paper such as this one or this one, or this one for dark colored fabrics
- A solid color baby onesie or t-shirt. I suggest you use white for the first time
- An iron

Follow the instructions on the package for printing, cutting and ironing your desired design. I found some great resources for free printable designs:

-Free owl and robot printable designs via Creature Comforts
-Free downloadable designs via Dingbatdepot
-Free iron-on patches via Wee Gallery (see below)

Here is my final product. I made it for my sister's baby boy shower. I hope she likes it...

Pinatas!!!

Growing up in my native South America, pinatas have always been the tradition in every child's birthday party I went to. When my little one turned one, I decided to keep that tradition. I have such fond memories of how fun and exciting they were. I hope my little Kiki enjoys them as much as I did... Here are some great resources for pinatas:
